Please note our cinema “L’ARLEQUIN” will be screening "The Master" in 70mm from January 2013. This will be the only cinema in Paris to show the film in 70mm.

L’Arlequin is a famous arthouse 3-screen cinema with a lovely 400-seat main auditorium. It used to be owned by Jacques Tati in the 60s.

"The Master" is filmed in 65mm with Panavison cameras. Image by PTA & Co

We have a long love story with 70mm at the Arlequin. In 1997 we were I believe the first cinema in France to offer a 70mm screening with DTS sound format – this was for the re-release of "Vertigo" with Kim Novak herself attending the premiere.

We turned digital two years ago but kept all our 35MM projectors, and we are very excited to be able to use our 70mm facility again (last time was for a new print of "Spartacus" three years ago).
