Superpanorama Movie Camera MCS-70, c. 1962

Manufactured by "Jan Jacobsen", Copenhagen. Size 65 mm, variable speeds (0-50 p/s), mirror reflex viewfinder and telescopic finder, 3 lenses: Superpanorama 1:1,4/24 mm, Superpanorama 1:3,5/105 mm and Schneider Xenar 1:2,8/80 mm, with 2 aluminum suitcases. Jan Jacobsen, Kopenhagen. Filmkamera für 65 mm breiten Film in Zwei-Kammer-Außenkassette für 300mm-Filmrolle. Suchersystem: Spiegelreflex über Mattscheibe und Fernrohrlupe. Objektive: Superpanorama 1:1,4/24 mm, 1:3,5/105 mm, Schneider Xenar 1:2,8/80 mm. Filmschaltwerk mit Doppelzug- und Sperrgreifer. Eingebauter Regelmotor 0-50 B/s. - Dabei: 2 Original-Alu-Koffer. Photokopien zur Werkgeschichte. - Elektrische Funktionen ungeprüft. - Die MCS-70-Kamera ist außerordentlich selten, wahrscheinlich wurden nur 6 Exemplare hergestellt. Ab 1955 wollte die internationale Filmindustrie durch immer größere Kinoprojektionen gegen die Fernsehkonkurrenz um Zuschauer kämpfen. Dafür waren neue Filmformate notwendig. Die auf 65 mm breitem Film gedrehten Aufnahmen wurden für das Kino auf 70 mm Breite umkopiert, dadurch entstand Platz für mehrere Stereo-Tonspuren.
