As I wrote you earlier Rainer in his younger days has been a projectionist at the Europa-Palast in Essen in the glorious days of Cinerama. By now he is retired and owns the most beautiful little private cinema in Berlin. Some months ago Rainer and friend from Norway travelled to Morocco, where he discovered old 70mm projectors on display in the lobby of the CINEMA RIF in Casablanca. He made the attached photos and asked me to send them to you. Rainer and I hope you will enjoy the photos, especially as the CINEMA RIF is not listed among the 70mm venues on the internet. |
