the image to see enlargementOne of the original M.C.S.-70 Superpanorama cameras, originally made by Jan Jacobsen in the early 1960s, will be on display during 8. Todd-AO 70mm-Festival 2012 on the Saturday and Sunday in the Schauburg foyer. Only 6 cameras were ever made - all hand built. This camera was recently aquired by Jürgen A. Brückner of the Kinemathek Coburg, Germany. He generously let the camera be exhibited during the 8th Todd-AO festival in Karlsruhe. In 2013, the owner of the camera Jürgen A. Brückner plans to make a new 65mm short film with this camera, filmed by Germany's master cinematographer Heinz Hölscher and other camera people previously associated with the MCS 70 films. Another short film made with a vintage MCS 70 65mm camera was "Fanny's Wedding" (2000) by Olivier Brunet.
