You may publish them on the website if you would like. In 1983 the theatre was twinned by splitting the auditorium down the middle. That gave the theatre a little boost in attendance but it closed four years later. It is now a health club. | |

During that time, I worked as a projectionist at The Uptown Theatre in Washington, DC. The Uptown was DCs "Cinerama Theatre". I produced a short documentary about the Uptown a couple of years ago. I shot footage of the theatre during a showing of "Quantum Of Solace". I also used footage I had shot there during two of the premieres held there. You can click here to see it.
