there anyone among the readers of in70mm.com, who might know what brand this
70mm machine is? Maybe of Italian origin, but it does not look like a FEDI
or a Prevost.
It has been seen on the
Italian film forum web site.
Any comments about the brand and use of this 70mm projector is most welcome,
please. Pictures are also most welcome.

Hi.
I am moving on thin ice here, but my best guess would be that this could be
a picture of an old Pio Pion. I know Pion had a 70mm projector, but I’ve
never seen the actual machine, so I’m not able to confirm anything. (but
there are some similarities to other Pion projectors I’ve seen)
I tried to google the projector/company, but the best I could find was a
thread from an
Italian forum that contains the exact same picture you've posted on
in70mm.com. Unfortunately I’m no Italian speaking person, so I don’t
understand very much of what’s written, but I can clearly see they also are
referring to a Pio Pion. ( )
I hope this can be of any use.
