re-release presentations of “The Jolson Story” in North America. The film’s 70mm
prints featured re-framed “tilt-and-scan” full-frame imagery and re-mixed
six-track stereophonic sound. (The 1946 film — directed by Alfred E. Green and
starring Larry Parks, Evelyn Keyes and William Demarest — was originally
produced in 1.37:1 Academy format with monaural audio.)
