Logmar
Camera Solutions is proud to present the new all-purpose
hand-held 65mm camera in Poland. Following presentations in
Hollywood and Karlsruhe, the new
"Magellan" 65mm camera will be presented at the CameraImage market 2018 in
Poland. Come and meet us between 12. and 16. November 2018, where
Camera Engineer Tommy Madsen and Product Test Manager Orla Nielsen, Logmar
Camera Solutions will be present to
demonstrate the Magellan 65mm film
camera.
The Logmar Camera Solutions' "Magellan" is a brand-new, fully electronic,
hand-held and ultra-light all purpose camera which will take large format
65mm photography to a new level. Thanks to its light weight and small
dimensions the possibilities with the "Magellan" are only limited by the
imagination of the director of photography. This entirely new 65mm camera
has been designed and manufactured completely from the ground up by Logmar
Camera Solutions. The camera is Made in Denmark by Camera Engineer Tommy
Madsen (CEO Logmar Camera Solutions), Frederikshavn, Denmark.
Tommy Madsen describes his camera like this:
"The Magellan 65 is handier than
most current 65mm cameras out there right now. You should use the
Magellan to make many new interesting and creative shots, because it is
a very compact camera. You can do new things with our camera which
previously were impossible, or very complicated, simply because the
cameras were too big and too heavy. We feel the Magellan 65 will bring
new things for storytelling into large format films."
Danish Logmar Camera Solutions and
Whitepoint Optics in Finland share the same booth on the first floor of the
CameraImage market 2018 at the Opera Nova Festival Centre, right between
Panavision and ARRI.
