 The following is a reference / historical listing of the 70-millimeter presentations of Sinners. These were the cinemas the filmmakers recommend seeking out to experience this motion picture.The Warner Bros. release was directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed, Black Panther) and stars Michael B. Jordan (in a dual role). The film officially opened April 18th with one-day-early preview screenings at the 70mm locales and two-day-early preview screenings at IMAX venues. The 5-perf 70mm prints of Sinners feature DTS audio and 2.76:1 imagery (1.25x anamorphic squeeze) sourced from a mixture of Ultra Panavision 70 and 65mm IMAX and a film-out of a Digital Intermediate. The 15-perf IMAX 70mm prints of Sinners feature digital audio and a variable aspect ratio from a mixture of 5-perf anamorphic 65mm (2.76:1) and 15-perf spherical 65mm (1.43:1). The 5-perf 70mm prints of Sinners include a 70mm coming-attraction trailer for One Battle After Another. No trailers were included with the 15-perf IMAX 70mm prints during initial release. A 15-perf IMAX 70mm trailer for The Odyssey included with the December 2025 and 2026 IMAX 70mm re-issue presentations. The figure cited in parenthesis after each cinema name is the bookings duration (measured in weeks).
