Today,
Tuesday 8. April 2014, Swiss television filmed Schauburg's Vincent Koch in
full swing working on the TV screens. Swiss television was at the Schauburg
doing a report about the
"Vigilant Switzerland" color restoration".
"Vigilant Switzerland" gets the 50th Anniversary treatment. This unique short was
filmed in MCS-70, directed by John fernhout and photographed by Robert
Gaffney. Dieter Gäbler was the MCS-70
camera technician.

The movie was produced for the Swiss Army and was shown at the Lausanne
World Fair in 1964 as "Vigliant Switzerland" and in 3 x 70mm
projection adding up to an spect ratio of 1 : 6,60 ... very rare "70mm
Cinerama Type".
All three panels were scanned from the original and faded but mint 70mm
archive prints and are now in the process of being color graded to get the
original look back. We will keep you informed as the work progresses.

"FORTRESS OF PEACE" will be shown in 70mm at the 2014 Todd-AO 70mm
festival this October. An original 3-Panel-screening of the DCP's in work is
planned later this year. Will keep you informed
