 The following is a reference / historical listing of the 70-millimeter
engagements of “One by One” in the United States and Canada. These were the
cinemas worth seeking out to experience the best presentation of this motion
picture.“One by One” was among five confirmed first-run films released in 1974 with 70mm prints for selected engagements. The Trans-International/Ellman release was directed by Claude Du Boc and starred Peter Revson and Stacy Keach. The film played a one-week Academy Award consideration run in Los Angeles beginning December 11th. The 70mm prints of “One by One” featured six-track magnetic audio billed as “70mm Multi Channel Quadraphonic Sound” and imagery sourced from an undetermined photographic process.
